1. What we are doing

At Secondipity, our tagline is Better Value, Better Life. We want a better life for everyone and, for that reason, we give back to our community. A portion of every sale on our site goes to help children in public schools learn to love the planet earth. Secondipity has partnered with DonorsChoose.org which works with teachers from all across the United States. Join us in this effort, it’s as easy as one, two, three…

1. We select three projects and post them to our blog.
2. You vote on which one we should fund.
3. We donate a portion of every sale to fund the winning project.

At the end of the month, we donate the total funds raised. The more you spend, the more we donate. Once we close the first project, if we have more money left, we donate to the second most popular project, and so on.

2. Who we are helping

DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on DonorsChoose.org. Then, individuals can browse project requests and give any amount to the one that inspires them. Once a project reaches its funding goal, they deliver the materials to the school.
